The bonus film to World Debut, for YouTube Originals and the Olympic Channel. Twenty minutes on how three new Olympic sports got their gear: the skateboard wheel, the surf fin and the climbing anchor, from mountaineering in 1865 to Waikiki in the early 1900s and Venice in the 1960s. Told in narration and hand-drawn cut-out animation, with Tony Hawk, Pat O’Connell and Emily Harrington. Directed by Phil Hessler, and released on YouTube Premium in July 2021.
